The 'Premiere' of The Improbable Son - A great success!

Fun and games at the premiereThe Premiere of “The Improbable Son” was held on 16th November at Cineworld in Chesterfield. Brilliantly received by all, the film was shown in the largest auditorium and had a fantastic turnout of around 200 people, including “Uncle Michael the Clown” (Michael Fentem) who played the lead role, and local actor Martyn Gillie who played Sir Richard Arkwright. Some guests even travelled from as far as Newcastle, London and Birmingham in order to make this special ocassion.

Traditional Street Organist Patrick Cooke, who also had a role in the film played his street organ and our lovable clown, better known locally as "Uncle Michael" and local actor 'in role' as Sir Richard Arkwright mixed with the crowds prior to the screening of the film.

The Premiere also marked the launch of The Improbable Son on DVD which is now available for purchase higher on this page for just £9.99 (plus postage and packing).

Overwhelming cheers and applause followed the screening of this fun family film - it was truely a day to remember for all those involved in this production!
