Understandably, one of the first questions we are
asked when a client is considering having a
corporate video made is 'how much will it cost?' However, it is impossible
to instantly provide the answer they are looking for unless they can give
us some idea of their requirements. If a client merely tells us they want
a corporate video and requests a price it really is like asking us how
long a piece of string is.
Using this facility is a quick and easy way to get
the answer you are looking for. We guide you through the main points to
be considered when producing a corporate video and you simply check the
relevant boxes. Your estimated total is automatically calculated as you
work through the checklist giving you an instant total by the time you
have considered each option.
Introductory discount!
We are now offering a discount to new customers. For more information
either phone us on 01629 55817
or see our instant online quotation and check the 'Discount' box to see
your discounted price for a corporate production.
If you want a training video -
please call us on 01629 55817
rather than working through the online quotation which is designed with
the shorter corporate video in mind. A training
video is often much longer and therefore we can give you a better
price if you ring and talk to us than you will get by working through
our online facility.
If the price is right - If the total is within the sort
of budget you are looking for then you can proceed to the next stage.
You can print a copy of the quotation for your records and then simply
ring us on 01629 55817 quoting the reference
number. We can then arrange an initial meeting with you in order to get
the production of your corporate video under way.
If the cost is too high - If the total is greater than
you budget you can click on the button at the bottom of the quotation
for more advise on how to reduce the cost. If, having tried to optimise
the quote, the total is still too high, do not give up. Peak Vision TV
can offer you an alternative to the scripted corporate video at a price
you can afford.
If the cost is too low - If the total seems too low for
your corporate video and you would like to optimise the quality then simply
click on the button at the bottom of the quotation. We will then advise
you on the additional options now open to you.
Alternatively, call us

If you would prefer, you can ring us and we can
talk about your requirements in order to give you a quotation. Before
you ring us, it might help you to look at our guide on how to write a
Brief. This addresses all the main points to consider when commissioning
a corporate video.
How to keep within your
budget
You will no doubt have an idea of the budget to
be allocated for your corporate video and therefore be looking for a quotation
within your budget. Whatever your budget, Peak Vision TV will make every
effort to tailor a production to meet your requirements, whilst remaining
within your budget.
We can advise on how to make the right choices to enable you to produce
a corporate video within your budget without having to compromise on the
quality of the production.
There are many influential factors to consider:
duration - this will be dependent
on the purpose of your corporate video but there is often little need
for a long corporate video which will cost more. If your production
is too long the audience are likely to loose interest, whereas a shorter
programme which clearly presents the message without losing impact
is more likely to meet your objectives whilst remaining within your
budget.
the number of locations - in
order to impress a prospective customer you may want to film most
of the programme on your main site but also show a number of other
sites.
However, you may need to take
into consideration that the more locations there are, the more expensive
the production of your corporate video is likely to be.
a
voice-over or presenter
- this will relate to the purpose
of your video. There is little point in having spoken narration if
your video is for your exhibition stand as it is unlikely to be heard,
but on the other hand if your video is for sending out to prospective
customers you may want a presenter or voice -over.
You may consider
it essential to have a well-known presenter or voice-over in order
to present your message but if if you merely require a talented voice-over
or artist regardless of celebrity status this will keep the cost down
considerably.
actors - it can be an advantage
to have actors in front of the camera rather than members of the staff
who may be camera-shy. However, you may need to have skilled members
of your workforce demonstrating techniques. It really is a case of
prioritising your requirements in order that you do not compromise
the quality of your corporate video in order to save money.
titles, graphics and animations
- if your video is for exhibition use you are likely to need more
in the way of titles and graphics in order to enhance the vision often
taking the place of the need for a voice-over or presenter as the
impact of your message needs to be visually-based.
However, if you
are having a presenter or voice-over you may not see the need for
much in the way of titles and animations therefore keeping the cost
down in this area.
music - do you need a well-known
pieces of music that will incur substantial copyright fees, a piece
of music written specifically for your production, again taking a
large part of your budget, or will a piece of library music fulfill
your objectives whilst at the same time staying well within your financial
limits. This is an area in which you do not have to compromise on
quality to ensure the overall cost of the production remains within
your budget.
Beware, do not compromise
the quality!
Although you may want to keep within the limitations
of your budget and may find it necessary to consider above points carefully,
there are areas of the production of your corporate video in which you
should not compromise, such as the
script.
You may find production companies that will make your corporate video
for a lower price then Peak Vision TV by not bothering with a script,
or they may claim to use a script but then only present their clients
with a 'narrative' rather than a working script (Peak Vision TV use a
'two-column script' this being the most widely used script format for
corporate video.) The script is an essential element of the production
process and you may be compromising the quality of your programme by going
down that route. When commissioning a corporate video there are
a number of pitfalls that you should be aware of.
