We are used to working to broadcast standards and regardless of whether a production is for broadcast, we follow the same stringent quality control procedures based on standards published by the EBU (European Broadcasting Union). We monitor the quality of both the images and sound using vector scopes, waveform monitors and audio vector scopes and ppm meters, ensuring the end product is of the highest quality. Most of our programmes are produced in true widescreen 16:9.

We use professional broadcast equipment throughout the production process, from cameras, audio equipment and lighting to editing suites and monitoring equipment.

Got a good idea?

If you have a good idea for a for broadcast television programme, the first stage is to write a brief. Then you will need to make a proposal to the broadcaster of your choice.

If you have already tried to do this yourself, you will have been given the standard answer which is to find a production company that will put in a proposal for you.

Peak Vision TV are inundated by people with good ideas and as you can imagine it is impossible to fund them all. However, where someone is absolutely determined to pursue their idea and wants a proposal writing, we provide a proposal writing service, for a set fee, merely covering our time and expenses.

The process for writing a proposal is as follows:

Firstly we will request that you send us you brief. Then we will arrange a meeting with you at mutually convenient time and venue in order to discuss your idea in depth. Having studied you brief , we will then be able to draw from you information which will help to address some of the issues that the broadcasters expect to be covered in a proposal.

Following the meeting we will then form a draft proposal, a copy of which will be forwarded to you for your approval. (The proposal will be a succinct document of two pages maximum in order to comply with the stipulations of broadcasters who are inundated with programme proposals and will not look at anything longer.) Following any necessary alterations, we will then submit the proposal to the broadcaster of your choice.

Obviously, the decision made by the broadcaster upon receiving the proposal is totally out of our control and therefore we accept no liability regardless of the outcome.

A deposit will be required before commencement of any research regarding your programme proposal and then the final balance will be required once the proposal has been approved and is ready for submission to the broadcaster.
